Hospitality specialist and love aficionado Fred Sirieix is opening the doors of his overseas retreat to singletons once again for a seventh series of First Dates Hotel.
The Channel 4 spin-off sees the London restaurant and bar staff who form the backdrop of First Dates travel abroad to facilitate romance in the sun.
The series was originally filmed at at Le Vieux Castillon in Castillon-du-Gard in France, switching to a new location for subsequent seasons.
Here’s what you need to know.
Since its second series the hit show has been filmed at the Aquapetra Resort and Spa in Campania, just over an hour’s drive away from Naples.
The historic settlement dating back to the 18th century has 60 acres of gardens, is lined with olive trees and features a steam room and spa, should you require any morning-after-the-night-before pampering.
With 42-rooms of offer, guests have access to two pools, a jacuzzi, hotel bar and gym. The site even has its own Michelin-star restaurant, which serves meticulously selected local produce.
The largest suite is more than 75 square metres, consisting of a bedroom, living room, two bathrooms including a large jacuzzi and a rain shower.
The classic Italian Fiat 850 taxi, which host Fred Sirieix appears in during the series, is used at the hotel as part of its in-house chauffeur service.
The wider location – in some of Italy’s finest wine-growing country – boasts historic towns, monuments, national parks, springs and peaks.
The first series of the show in 2017 was filmed at Le Vieux Castillon , a four-star hotel and spa situated in a French medieval village, a half-an-hour drive from Nîmes.
Eager to impress, excited singletons of all ages dot the sun-drenched poolside, with no idea who their dates are going to be. If their first date goes well, they have the opportunity to meet their love interest again.
Manager Fred and his team of Cupids are on hand to manage this five-star Hotel di Amore, catering to every whim and desire.
Season seven of First Dates Hotel starts at 9pm on Tuesday 6 September on Channel 4.
