#1 FOR NEW COUNTRY
In case you haven't heard, Texarkana is getting a new Italian restaurant on the Arkansas side of town soon!
Monjunis Italian Cafe and Grocery a popular eatery back in the 90s in Texarkana is returning to the former location of Copeland's just off I-30.
Monjunis originated in the state of Louisiana many years ago, there are now several Monjunis located throughout the state including the Shreveport-Bossier area.
If you love great Italian food made fresh daily you are going to love Monjunis specializing in the classics such as spaghetti and meatballs where they make over 7000 award-winning meatballs every week and of course world-class homemade lasagne that will have your tastebuds dancing.
Monjunis also has a great variety of house or caesar salads and Poboys sandwiches to choose from plus Italian favorites like Fettuccine Alfredo, Shrimp Fettuccine, Baked Rigatoni, and more. Make sure you try their House Specialties like Veal Parmesan or Shrimp Aurora just to name a few. Add some Sicilian Breadsticks, Cajun Shrimp Toast, or Fried Calamari to yop off any meal.
And you haven't had a Margarita until you try one of their Frozen Italian Margaritas and add some amaretto to really make it Italian.
The Texarkana location will be adding a drive-thru to the new Monjunis to better serve its customers and the community.
According to their Texarkana Facebook page, Monjunis Italian Cafe and Grocery is slated to open in January 2023, if all goes well.
Are you happy to have Monjunis back?
